A clue or two. Don't say anything to her about the old boyfriend. Instead just tell her that she's obviously putting distance between you and her ... and then take "yourself away" ... I mean it. Tell her that you've no way of knowing where her heads at, but her actions speak clearly to the need for you to find someone whose head will be totally into you. Once you've put her on the road to her "PROBABLY WILL NEVER HAPPEN OLD LOVE," she's going to come to some quick realizations. First, ole lover boy's married ... and even if he leaves, he won't be marrying her. Second, there's nothing quite as effective as taking something away to prompt someone to think seriously about the foolishness she's only been fantasizing about... She will either go or she will focus. No matter which she choses, if she choses you, you'll be better off and if she leaves, you'll be better off. You already know you've got "IT" ... they may not line up around the block, but you'll find another woman who perhaps actually appreciates someone real, and whole-hearted devoted to her. To the sack of shit who's playing her on the other end, she's nothing more than a passing toy. It'll be painful for her to experience that, but she'll do what she's going to do. You're better being somewhere else when she's effing her life up.
Thanks, that is the best response I could have hoped to get. Most people judge others situations right away, but this has definitely given mw some perspective. I agree it makes the best sense to just tell her that I feel she has put distance between us, rather than telling her what I found out. This way she HAS to deal with the real issue instead of getting defensive and making me the bad guy.... Seriously thanks for the advice I think it will help me deal with her in a way that gets good results either way as you said.
