Ok so I know those jelly sex bracelets only started out as a rumor, but apparently they're actually doing it at my daughter's high school. I've suspected for a while, but I didn't really have any solid evidence until recently. My daughter's been buying those bracelets with her allowance (they're apparently really cheap where she gets them) since a few months into this school year.

Now, this in and of itself isn't proof. Recently I found a printed sheet of paper in her backpack that lists what the colors mean, and I assume this is the key everyone else is using. I won't list them all off but I'll say which ones she's been wearing and what those ones mean.

Black for full sex. Clear says "whatever the snapper wants". Dark blue says "hardcore". Glow in the dark purple says "kinky". Clear with red glitter says "guy takes control". Blue says "blowjob". Glow in the dark white says "strip", and Brown says "salad tossing" which, I don't know what that is and I'm afraid to find out.

So far I've left everything alone. If I bring it up they'll probably ditch the bracelets and deny everything, likely only my daughter would get in trouble unless she pointed anyone else out. On the other hand, she's smart enough to know what's too dangerous or risky and I trust that she would know when to stop.

I don't think I'll tell anyone. Nobody else seems to have found out yet, and my daughter has actually been much happier this school year than last. I guess I'll keep an eye out though in case things manage to get out of hand between now and the end of the year (which is sooner than I thought)
