Growing up in my town, I've become pretty familiar with the cops. Not because I stay in trouble, but because I like to talk to people.

Here recently, nightshift had a change in cops. The "new" cop went from being on day shift to night shift. He was old to the department, but new to me.

He's in his 40's and married with children.

Due to my job, he gave me his phone number incase I ever needed him to get there right away. Little did I know, our harmless conversations would turn into flirting, and talking about sexual induendos.

I feel terrible for flirting with him the way I do, but I can't help it. He's just so smart, funny, easy to get along with, and I'm comfortable around him.

I can't help the feeling of actually wanting to put my words into action.
