Please help. I'm 16, I know I shouldn't be on here, and I'm in love with a guy in my school. There are a plethora of things i would do to him if i could.

The only problem is that he's straight.

He doesn't know I have feelings for him but do you think I should tell him?? I don't really want to risk ruining our friendship and I know he's straight, but there's something in me that makes me want to tell him nonetheless.

We have a really good friendship which I don't want to lose, what should I do??

Ok you have a choice here either tell hin and risk losing a good freind or keep your feelings to yourself, If he knows that you are gay and he is cool with it then maybe it wont freak him out if you tell him and being a realy good freind he will understand, But if not i would not risk it as it could lead to a world of hurt for you, Being so young your feelings can be realy intense and i understand how that feels but it would be a shame to see you hurt so please play safe and cool, But to be honest i dont see a future with him for you apart from just freindship as he is straight, The guy of your dreams will come along and will love you the way you want him to. Good luck honey and i wish you the best of luck. x

Thank you x he knows I'm bisexual and is fine with it and makes jokes about 'us' but I think he wouldn't be ok with it. I'll keep it to myself

I don't know if you consider yourself to be gay. At sixteen that is really too young to decide that. In all honesty, lots of friends develop feelings for each other, and these feelings can often and discretely turn quite romantic. Sometimes there is just a lot less pressure for two guys to share a close moment as friends and lovers ( for for two girls). This doesn't make you gay. In your case, I would maybe very cautiously try to be a little more chummy. If he reacts badly to this, then by all means back off and don't push it or say anything. Just casually laugh it off.
