I think things are fine as they are, If a post is "lame" then just dont do anything just move on and ignore it, That is what i do perhaps a Junk button might be better if needed but i still feel with no comments and no "juicys" then that speaks for itself realy, If a "lame" or "junk" button were installed it would only be abused like the old "thats lame" button was anyway, Just my opinion of course.
and they need the remove this option back too!
#1 makes a good point, #2 also, so we need a : This poster is a) mad, b) dilusional c) fogot to take their meds d) cannot write - just sayin' :-)
It isn't abuse. It's an opinion and we all have the right to one. I question the necessity of "Remove This" when it's clearly never used. Back when you could still see the numbers of people who clicked "Remove This" I saw some stories with as many as 20 remove this clicks and yet they were still up on the board.
