When I was 15 I was caught telling on a group of girls that cheated on a test. I did'nt know that the one girl was standing outside the door when I was telling my social studies teacher what they did. Later that day two of the four asked me if I wanted to go to the mall with them. I said sure because I wanted to be their friend because they were part of the in crowd. They told me to meet them at 6:00 and I said that I would be there. I started to think that the teacher hadn't said anything to them because I was really surprised when they asked if I wanted to go to the mall. Well I met two of them at a department store one of the girls older sister was working there and she wanted to see her. What I didn't know was the other two were at the store already shoplifting. It was a total set up. Two of the girls met me while the other two were steeling. Once we stopped and talked to the one girls sister for a while the other two ran into us. The one girl was all hey Tina how are you can you hold my bags for a sec. Isaid sure she was all thanks I have to go to the bathroom. Well the otehr three then said oh I have to go to I'll go with. Then they all took off running leaving me with two huge bags. I tried to keep up but couldn't so I just walked to the bathroom to meet them. Before I got there my cell phone rang it was Heather laughing and saying were only jokeing around were out in the mall meet us in the food court. I was like ok. Not only did I not know that the two bags they had given me had been shoplifted but they had told the one girls sister that worked there that I had stole a bunch of stuff. Security followed me out and as I walked nto the mall I was grabbed by the arm and was asked to see a recipt. I said that the bags were my friends as I said this I looked up to see the four of them laughing there asses off and pointing at me. I turned beat red with embarressment and could feel that hot feeling go thru my body. The security officer said that I need to go back to the store with him because I was being detained for shoplifting. I begged and pleaded and said that it was the girls that were standing by the door laughing at me. I started to get upset and could feel tears in my eyes that only made me even more embarrassed. I tried to pull away from him and thats when he squeezed my arm and said that I was going back to the security office with him or he would hand cuff me. I started to cry and said ok. The whole way back I begged and pleaded I asked what was going to happen. The securith Officer said that my parents and the police were going to get called. I strated to really cry because now I was scared. I was going to jail or I was going to get my ass beat well both happened. The police were called they got to the store before my parents did. I was sitting in a chair with hand cuffs on when they finally got to the store. My parents worked out a deal with the store so I didn't get arrested. I wish I was I got the belt was grounded for 6 months from the t.v. phone, computer, going out, or having friends over. Think that's bad that's only the first part I thought that was embarrassing during that 6 months every friday night, and sat. sun. all day I had to walk around the mall with a sign on the front and back that read I SHOPLIFTED AT RAVE AND GOT CAUGHT I WAS SENTENCED TO A BARE BUTT SAPNKING 12 LICKS WITH THE BELT AND GROUNDED FOR 6 MONTHS NO OUT NO T.V. NO FRIENDS NO PHONE NO COMPUTER!!!! And those girls made sure that they were there everyday to remind me keeping my mouth shut is a good idea. People at my school teased me for two years about my ordeal some even had pictures.
