I was very surprised when I noticed that my fifteen year old son had painted toenails. He had painted them a shade of dark metal gray. I honestly thought: okay, my son is gay. Then he informed my that lots of boys were paiting their toenails and that it had nothing whatsoever to do with being gay or anything like that. Well, I had to adjust my thinking. Can ten dabs of paint really be homosexual?? Are girls in pants trying to be guys?? You know, maybe there is such a thing as fashion and trends and just plain having fun. After all ... why does naybody paint their toenails in the first place?? Unless, of course it's a God given right of women and no one else?? I wonder where women would be today with that kind of thinking?? I thought that we had gotten past that. Guys can ... but women can't! Oh, my! How absolutely stuff can everyone be ... or were, fifty years ago!
Well, I thought that I would just pass this along to other fellow (and hopefully past ) narrow-minded thinkers out there. Actually, I think painted toes just look nice.
