During a long talk about our sex life my wife told me that she doesn't believe that adventurous sex is cheating. She explained to me that sex simply for fun isn't cheating in her mind. Basically she can have sex with other women, men of other races, younger or older men and strange men while on vacation or out of town and as long as there is no emotional attachment it's not cheating. She thinks that having sex with people we are friends and/or acquaintances with is wrong because the possibility for emotional entanglements and embarrassment is ever present but other than that she feels it fine as long as it's careful and safe. She also said that she feels that it's our own business so there's no reason to tell each other if we have an "adventurous encounter." She also said that she would have adventurous sex with someone if she wanted to regardless of how I felt about it. She was adamant that having sex with someone you care about is cheating but other than that it's perfectly ok.

This tells me a few things. One, my wife has obviously been having sex outside of our marriage. Two, there are three woman I know who have been hotting on me. Two have asked me if I would ever consider hooking up with them. Until this conversation with my wife my answer was no. Now, it's going to be yes. Every time it comes up it's going to be yes.
