This summer I was out with a friend. We were out walking in this big park close to where we live. The two of us were walking along, and just for fun we slung an arm around behind each other's waist as we walked. We were just being chummy, and we both liked it. Neither of are gay, but it was great being close like that as friends and as guys. I guess we just felt daring and reckless and uninhibited. Nobody even took any notice of us.
Well, we went back to my place, and we were filling silly, and we kissed. It wasn't like we just touched lips, but we really kissed. It was great doing that. Of course we both laughed, and figured it was just a onje time thing. Then a few days later when he was at my place, we were in the mood, and we started playing at being gay, kissing and hugging, and we both really liked it. Neither of us really knew what to think, excepting that it was exciting and fun, and like I said, it was really great doing that as friends. So we started discretely having a little bit of a fun gay-romance, and this has been going on since that time. We've managed to have a few minor sexiually involved moments, which we have both liked and found very satisfying. What the two of us have been wondering - is it possible for two friends to have this sort of good natured romantic friendship, and not be gay???? Any comments or advice on this from anyone out there would be much appreciated.

It depends on your personal definition of being gay, What you both did would certainly be in many peoples eyes as gay, But why worry about others approval or labeling of what you both did?, As long as you both are happy there is no problem, It may be that you both or more likely you enjoy the intimacy of the erotic situation you find yourself, I have had that kind of contact with another man intimacy can be very erotic but there again i am bisexual anyway so maybe my pov does not count, In any case just enjoy what you have and dont preasure yourself with labels leave that to others as if their opinion of your sexuality counts.

You're gay if you're attracted to and fantasize about men not women. But if you're still turned on by women, then you're not gay. At most, you're bi.

Duh, to all yopu others and your labels. I thought that it was just called being good friends. Why not? Don't worry about it, just enjoy your friendship and life!

I am getting very tired reading gay experiences by people who list as "straight male", buddy you are GAY. Face it you had sex and still do have sex with another man, that by definition is gay. You may not want to admit it, because you have some homophobia, but you are definitely GAY.

LOL! I have to laugh at some of these comments. If you do this, you're gay. If you do that you're gay, or you're bi. Fuck you! You know know nothing! People are what they are. A person can have a homosexual experience and still not be gay. A gay man can fuck your sister, but that don't make him straight. Half the youth in America listen to hip hop and rap, and that don't mean they're black. You are a human being with wants, desires and problems, etc., that are unique to you. We all have our own set of bullshit to deal with, so don't hang up on labels.
