I am having problems sleeping and not willing to tell anyone what I did. We took my mother in law in out home because her son and other daughter would not. Mom can NOT be in a home, she needs someone to care for her. I am disabled and due to my wife income get nothing. So I took the job and took care of her. With in a year her mind got real bad. She would get out of the shower or tub with soap in her hair.
So I gave her a shower or bath every day. When I got her out I dried her off. She had not forgot sex and ask for it every day. She pulled my arm to the bed one day and I did it. I noticed she was MUCH better after this. Was like a drug for her mind. So few days later the same thing. She started getting her mind back more. few days in a row and she carried on a conversation at dinner. No repeating and no crazy stories.
I could not do this every day, but most days and never let her pass three days with out it.
She passed last month and I am alone with nothing to do all day. I thought of this and feel I may have been wrong to do this. I never hurt her and was always easy with her. most days I let her get it how she wanted.

just hope I don't have to answer for this some day.

You did nothing wrong in fact quite the reverse, You helped her to remain with dignity as long as she could and i'm certain she enjoyed the sex too a woman in her situation needs sex too her feelings for it may come and go but she is human with real feelings after all, Look back at it with fondness at how happy you made her and i'm sure you made her feel younger too, Put away your guilt you dont deserve it if more people were like you then people in her situation would be a lot happier.

What you did was a very loving and caring thing for her. Though her health was failing, she still had physical urges and needs. In her last days, you made her happy. You gave her satisfaction that she longed for. Be happy in knowing that she passed a little happier and more peacefully that she might otherwise if you had not provided her some brief physical relief and satisfaction.

You brought care and joy into her life when she needed it most.
That's all that really counts when all is said and done
