I worked for a company that unfortunately fell into bad times and had to close down some of its branch offices. The branch office I worked in was one of them. I was given a severance package and decided to take some of the money and take a trip before I began to look for a new job. After the trip I began to look for work and it was 3 months before I began to get any calls back on the resumes I had submitted. One company was very interested in me and had already called me in for 2 interviews. They said they wanted to talk to my former employer for a reference and mentioned if all went well I pretty well had the job. I called my former boss and asked her if I could still use her as a reference. We briefly talked and she said I could. She suggested we get together in person to discuss what I wanted her to say and to discuss how we were each doing. I said that sounded great and she said tonight was good for her. It was good for me too so we decided tonight was the night. She told me to meet her at her place at 7:00pm and gave me her address. I showed up promptly at 7:00pm and we talked about where she was working now and then it turned to me. She asked me to tell her about the job I had applied for and what I wanted her to say to them. She could tell how excited I was about the position and even asked about the salary. She commented about how much more it was than my last job. I told her I would really owe her for doing this reference for me. She then began to talk about our last job working together and mentioned she regretted one thing. I asked what that was and she told me a more intimate view of me. I asked what she meant by more intimate. She said she means in the revealing sense of the word as in my clothes removed. I told her it isn't appropriate for an employer to ask an employee to do that. She was quick to remind me that we were no longer employer-employee. I told her we sort of were because she is doing a job reference for me. She said the job reference hasn't happened yet and I might want to fix her regret so we could be even. I asked if she was serious and she said it would be a nice trade off. She then added I may think she is a bitch for asking but then sometimes you need to do things to get what you want. In this case I will get a good job reference and she gets a look at me. She saw I was hesitant, but knew I needed a reference from her, so she reminded me how I could be in a new job with more money and it all starts with the simple removal of my clothing. I didn't know if I should and she told me I didn't have to take my underwear off. I decided that wouldn't be too bad so I took off everything except my underwear. I stood there as she looked me over and then she came over and began to pull my underwear down. I told her she said I didn't need to remove them. She said which is why she was removing them. I figured why fight it any longer and just let her have her look. After a few comments about my body she told me she was going to give me a good job reference. She then said it was now up to me to turn it into a great job reference by letting her watch me please myself. I don't know why but I did what she asked. After it was all done she told me I could expect a great job reference from her and that I would be rolling in the cash.
I did get the job and thanked her for the reference. I do feel both embarassed and proud in what I did to get this job.
