This happened at the beginning of May of this year. I was at my best friend's house. Her mom left to do an errand and was taking me home after she got back. I was alone with my friend, whose name is Amanda, and her fifteen-year-old brother Collin. Amanda and I are both thirteen. We were all kind of hyper and we were running around. We eventually ended up outside and we were all still high on sugar. Amanda has a tricycle, but it's actually really cool for a tricycle, and you can do more with it than on a normal bike. Well, Collin starts riding it backwards down their sloped driveway, and he didn't fall or anything, so I wanted to do it. Mind you, I am the biggest klutz in the world, but I didn't take that into consideration at the time. Collin went inside to watch TV and I copied his stunt. Well, when I was about three-fourths down the driveway, I don't know what happened, but the bike slid out from under me. I fell on my butt and almost did a full backward roll. It hurt so much! I had scratched Amanda's bike and she was so mad at me. I thought she was being self-centered so I went inside, away from her. I could barely walk because my foot killed. Collin just laughed at me when I told him what happened--BIG help! I was going to go home when Amanda came in and apologized to me. Then I realized that my foot was bleeding all over their white rug. I didn't even bother to wait for her mom to come home. I called my dad and had him pick me up right then. Now, Amanda's mom doesn't like us to go outside when we're home alone and I KNOW that's because of me.
