My parents and I recently went on a trip to visit an aging relative who was sick and probably would pass away soon. We stayed in a nearby motel and got two rooms which had a connecting bathroom. I assumed that when the bathroom was occupied by Dad or Mom, that they would lock the door to prevent me from barging in on them, and vice versa.
