I want to tell my story, the reason why I submit to my husband. Yes, I submit to him.

This is not about sex, he is the man and I am the woman and that is how sex is in our house. That part is easy, as we all know. No this is about submitting to him, to accepting him as my Lord and Master over my life. I took his hand when I married him, but I did not accept him on that day as my Lord and Master on earth. This was wrong. I did not obey, I did not do as I should, I did not commit myself to the marriage as a wife. And worse, I did not set out to be a mother and to build a home.

One day he told me that as I would not be his wife, he would find another, a wife to dedicate herself to him, to his home and most importantly to delivering herself to being a mother. This girl was younger than me, but a few years, and she was committed to being a wife. I was not.

I gave much thought, actually I went through emotional hell. Here I was, the one true wife, I had married him, and I was giving up my place to this other woman because I would not accept what I was supposed to do.

First I accepted that I must become a mother, and second that I must take over the building of a home, and thirdly to somehow accept that as his wife, he was my Lord and Master on earth, as God himself is my Lord and Master in Heaven.

I struggle every day with the conflict that the world has place upon my shoulders, be yourself, do not submit to anyone, don't let him tell you what to do, things like that. But that is the path to divorce, a broken home and worse still, eternal damnation in the eyes of God.

So one day I went alone to our church, mid week, with a heavy belly, and sat there and asked God for guidance. And God spoke to me, and I listened for the first time in my whole life, I listed to God and not to those who want to put down God's plan, and I realized that when he chose me to be a girl, to become a woman, to be the female of the species, to be the one in my house to bear children, he chose me to be the wife and not the husband.

He chose other things for my husband, but he chose me to be a wife. So a wife I will be, I submit to my husband as my Lord and Master on earth, to be his wife, to walk beside him, to bear children for him, to build and maintain his home, and trust in God's hand that those things that are for the husband, he will do.

My life today as a mother and a wife and a woman in my community is much better, I found peace. And I found that there is nothing wrong with being the woman God wants you to be. He did not make you man, so don't try to be man, he made you woman, that is all. That simple. His plan is that simple.

Thank you,

You poor soul, women were not meant to be slaves to men! No Deity worthy of the name wants this, and no man worthy of the name wants it either, unless it is of a sexual nature and completely consensual between adults. It should be based on love too, not exploitation.

Are you kidding me? What a fucking joke! This is why I reject religion completely! The only thing I truly believe in, is that people are capable of reason, and that one day, we will use it to better protect ourselves from despicable brain-washing religious dogma.
Listen, if being your husbands property and worshiping at his feet makes you guys happy, you go for it! Just don't go preaching to others about how that's the answer for everybody. It's not! I view sin as bullshit. I don't fear final judgement, and I don't make final judgement. If your personal delusion gets you thru the night, that's great! For you anyway.

Well, here I go. I am a senior citizen, retired military without regrets of either. I admit, the authors story brought tears to my eyes, so did the person who wrote comment #3. Comment #1 said that the writer sounded like a wife from the 50's. To me that is great. My wife and I took our vows to Love and Behold, to Cherish and Obey, with other promises to each other, Until Death Do Us Part! And that is it. My wife died, or as I like to put it and believe it in my heart that she was murdered, in a nursing home less than 1 year ago. We were in love right up to that last breath and people at the nursing home could not believe her, nor mine, age because she looked so much younger than she really was.
Now, back to our marriage. I returned from an overseas assignment and during a discussion with friends was told of this hot local gal. I just had to find her. I did and it was love at first sight. We made plans for marriage just 6 months later. We were not man and wife, wife and husband, we were lovers. Our respect was for each other, we had no idols, just us. We were partners, lovers, not slaves to each other. Her first pregnancy was not planned, in fact neither of the three were planned but she did ask, not tell, me after the third to have a vasectomy because she loved skin on skin. Condoms were only used when we were visiting and didn't want to get our of bed afterward and tip off our host on what we had been doing.
So, in ending, we were compatible right up until her accident which put her in the hospital, then the nursing home. So, to #3, guess what kept us happy all these years? Love of our own and Love of God!

I hope he develops a taste for very rough anal and a insatiable sex drive.
