What was your worst or most embarrassing Halloween costume?Maybe your parents made you wear some cheap or pitiful homemade get up.Or it seemed like a good idea at first and then really wasn't.Costumes that for whatever reason just went wrong!

I was supposed to dress up as Sonny with my Girlfriend who was supposed to dress up as Cher. She didn't do her part and I looked like a jackass.

Thats more embarassing than anything....when you spend lots of time and money on a costume and half the people at the party decided not to dress in costume. Twice that's happened to me. My buddies and I were going to dress as the three stooges. When I got to the party I see they decided against it. I felt like a stooge. Then I went as a woman one year and was supposed to meet my girlfriend who was to be dressed like a man. She decided against it.
I'm giving up on costume parties. LOL

This happened when I was ten.
We were having Halloween Day at school and my cousin, who was a year younger than me,had decided sheb was going to be a boy for Halloween. So my aunt called my mom to borrow some of my clothes. The next morning they came to our house early before school. She came running to me and told me that she was going to be a boy for Halloween.I told her that I didn't care, and then she told me that I was going to be a girl.I told her she was crazy, but she said that she had overheard our mothers talking and that her mom had brought some of her clothes for me.I called her a liar and went to see my mom.
As soon as I walked into the livingroom,I knew she wasn't lying. There was a wig on one of those foam stands on the coffee table, and my mom and aunt were both smiling real weird at me.I shook my head and told them NO WAY,before they even said a word.My mom told me not to be a stick in the mud, that it was a great costume idea, and that I would look cute dressed as a little girl.My aunt said that it would be really adorable, since my cousin was going dressed as a boy.I told them I absolutely wouldn't do it!
I was still refusing when my aunt was putting make-up on me,and I was wearing a pink party dress, the blonde wig with pigtails, ankle socks and mary jane shoes!
My cousin wore one of my sweatshirts,a pair of my jeans,a baseball cap and my sneakers. We were sent to school like that, where I spent a humiliating day,and they took us trick-or-treating dressed like that.My cousin loved it,but I've never been so embarrassed.

I still don't like Halloween to this day!

This event probably ranks as my most embarrassing moment ever. I let my ex-girlfriend talk me into dressing up for a costume party as a cheerleader - she went as a football player. That purple cheerleading skirt was super short. That was sorta embarrassing but even more embarrassing was the fact that I foolishly let her talk me into wearing purple string-bikini panties under the skirt. And those panties liked to ride up on me after a few minutes and would get pretty 'cheeky.' There were party games and the first one was 'bobbing for apples'. She talked me into doing it. I didn't even think twice about it. But when I bent over to bob for apples...there was lots of giggling behind me that I eventually caught on to. Yikes! I'd given lots of people a purple panty show. I was so embarrassed. She and some of her friends still tease me about it.

When we were little, my sisters and I dressed as bugs for Halloween. I can't remember the body half of the costumes, but I do remember us wearing giant inflatable bugs on our heads! I don't know what our parents were thinking.
