My name's Kate, i'm 31 years old, maried to a wonderful, caring, honest, supportive and kind man. But earlier this month I was completely and utterly stupid by accepting an offer, and it's tearing me apart.

Out shopping with a friend we bumped into an old school friend, someone I'd wanted to have sex with for a long time as a teeager and someone I'd not seen since our high school prom. He looked extremely fit and handsome in his tight fitting clothing, which showed off his muscley body. My friend said she had to leave when we'd been chatting for about five minutes, so I told her I'd catch up with her later by text.

No sooner than she'd walked away, Jamie my old school friend asked me straight out, if I wanted to go back to his place and have sex. The question seemed to come from no where and out of context to what we'd been chatting about, but I found myself saying and I can't now believe I said it now, I said yes.

His apartment was only five minutes drive away (I drove). All the way there all I could think about was how as a younger person I'd longed to have sex with him, how I'd let it be known to his friends, his social circle, I'd do anything to pleasure him. But he was a school hero, a guy that didn't sleep with girls like me, only the girls who were with in the In crowd. The thing was just like Jamie from his appearance, I too had more than kept myself in shape from the job I do and the swimming club that both I and my husband are apart of. I could see straight away when we met, Jamie was attracted to my body and I let that fact color my judgement.

I know this site is probably to arouse people about sex, but believe me there wasn't much to get aroused about. Yes Jamie had a large cock, larger than my husbands, but Jamie only wanted to pleasure Jamie. From the moment we were both naked he paraded himself showing me his muscles, his manhood, as though I should be thankful to him for allowing me to have sex with him. As for the sex, after sucking his cock hard, I was spun around and leant against a tall single chair. Jamie put his unsheathed cock into me from behind and fucked me like I was rubber doll. There was no pleasure in it for me, just Jamie, and he took his pleasure in no more than minute.

Jamie came up my pussy, withdrew his cock and had decided that was it for him. I was left feeling cheated and still very horny. I asked him to go down on me as his cock was of no use deflated, but he said he wasn't horny anymore. I was dressed and driving away only a few minutes later. For something so pathetic, I'd not only cheapened myself, I'd also risked my marriage to the most wonderful man I know. God am I an idiot.

At home I washed and showered myself twice, almost as though I'd been defiled. When my husband arrived home from work, I burst out crying from the guilt I felt. When he comforted me and asked what was the reason for my tears, I lied for a second time that day, I told him I'd heard an old school friend had passed away. I've kept on crying this last few weeks in private, not for myself but for us, our marriage. I realise how unbelievably stupid I've been and it's really affecting me.

I'm now considering telling my husband everything, but I really really really don't want to hurt him (I know I should have thought about that before letting Jamie fuck me, because that's what it was, it certainly wasn't making love or even good sex), or end the relationship and marriage we have.

Kate,
From the bottom of my heart this is a classic case as to why honesty is NOT always the best policy, which also means that lying can be the best choice. In this case it most certainly is, for if you were to tell your husband about your indiscretion, your "conscience" would feel relieved, but he would feel like shit. In other words, telling your husband that you had intercourse with a stranger (to him) will hurt him and help you. That, Kate, is the epitomy of selfishness.

The first commenter is a fool. And a sack of shit. Don't listen to him.

Kate, you are one of the few women on her who actually have the decency to feel bad about cheating. More than that, you want to fix what you did. And the only way that you can fix it is by telling your husband the truth. Yes, it will hurt him, but the lie and the secret are even more damaging. Perhaps the most important thing - your husband has a RIGHT to know. You need to be honest, try to make it up for him, and give him a hall pass. Don't forget, most wronged husbands end up forgiving their wives...IF the wives comes clean. If he finds out for himself, the chances of forgiveness are much lower. Good luck!

Don't have to tell your husband.Just don't go back to this Jamie. That's all.You learned your lesson-he does not love you and wants to just use you for his satisfaction-when your husband loves you.Don't repeat this mistake.

Tell your husband... relationships are built on communication, and already you have betrayed his trust twice in lying to him and then cheating on him. If you don't tell him for fear of what he will do, you're effectively betraying his trust three times over in having no belief in your relationship.

Kate,

Never tell you husband. Having been on the other side the honesty of my wife telling me eventually ruined our marriage. Hope everything works out for you.

Who the fuck are these idiots advising you to tell your husband? NEVER tell! Ignorance is bliss, and what you don't know can't hurt you. Simple as that. Your guilt won't go away by telling him, so it's a lose-lose situation. Just go on with life and learn from your mistakes. No good can come from fessing up, but plenty of good can come from the lesson you have learned. People can forgive a cheating spouse, but they NEVER forget. Better not to know.

Kate,
Think about how you would feel if you hadn't cheated on your husband and he did cheat and didn't tell you and you somehow found out.
