Straight Female / 28
I was 10 years old when I fell off of a slide and hurt myself while spending a summer week with a friend. I landed on a bush and cut myself open with a broken branch right where my leg meets my crotch. I still have the scar.
My friend's mom came running and they carried me inside, I was crying/screaming, the wound was not bleeding that much, but it was open and gross. My friend's mother couldn't deal with it so she called her son to come and clean me up and see if the wound needed a doctor.
So this 17 year old boy, who was an Eagle Scout, but still he was a boy, laid me out on the bed on a towel and with a pair of scissors cut my panties away and spread my legs apart to look at the wound. He washed the wound with a warm cloth and determined that I needed stitches to close the wound. He put a large antiseptic pad on my leg and had me close my legs and taped it tight, and asked my friend to bring some pajama pants for me to wear.
Then they took me to the doctor and he put a couple of stitches in and we went home for recuperation.
Hands down this was the most embarrassing thing that happened to me growing up. I am still friends with my friend and her brother and I have a very good relationship, a bond of sorts. But we never touch on the subject of that afternoon.
Most of the details are retold by my friend's mother, who was scared herself, she just leaves out the details of him looking at the wound, she just says he told her to take me to the doctor.
