Guys, don't let any woman talk you into getting fixed if its not what YOU are wanting. Wives will hold sex over your head until you get fixed yada yada yada. The truth , is that if the sex wasn't there before..it won't be there even after you are fixed. Women can be bitches like that and they really are just setting you up to fail should you end up with another someday or its her motive to stop you from breeding with another because it would take from her kids.

I know a few men who have been there and done that, they regret doing it. One guy had a reversal, it didn't work, and he ended up divorced again because she really wanted a kid of her own. He agreed to giving her a kid before they married but the reversal failed and they couldn't afford to adopt.

I see nothing wrong with a vasectomy. After our 3rd child, my wife asked, not told, me to have the surgery. She thought 3 was a plenty plus she, in her words, loved skin on skin rather that rubber. I had the surgery. They gave me a cup and asked me to ejaculate in it that night and bring it to the lab for a check the following day. This is where the fun came in. That night my wife gave me head and stroked my dick until I shot my load in the cup. Next day off to the lab. We sat and waited. Soon the lab tech returned with the results. They were, "Go home and enjoy yourselves. It was a success"
So, about 4 months later she need surgery, can't remember what for, but during this they performed a hysterectomy (Sp ?) and I teased her that the joke was on her. If she had had become pregnant we would automatically know it was not mine but now you are safe. Her words with a smile, "Have no fear, no danger. You are the only one I care for and I don't believe there is another in this world that could beat you." Made me feel good and until this day we are still having mad sex multiple times a month. After all, we are now senior citizens.

That is really sweet #1, need more people like you and your wife out there! As for the vasectomies, this is a heads up for guys who might be feeling pushed by their wives to get it done whether they are ready or not. Now if the guy wants it, then yea go for it. BTW, your wife sounds lovely. :-)

Sometimes, the opposite happens. After 4 kids, I was ready for a vasectomy. My wife insisted that I not do that and that we could still use regular birth control. After #5 (which was her intent), I was done and went to the doctor. I had mine after my wife nearly died with our daughter. I had no intent to ever leave my wife and children. still feel that way. I talked with guys who have done this, and many need testosterone treatment later. I too had the feeling like hell, gained belly fat and horrible pissed off a lot. I have implants called testopell installed 4 times each year. As a form of therapy. Thinking my wife could get off the BC meds, and she starts bleeding so bad, she now has BC medication shots to prevent her from having a period at all. So that pain and trouble was a waste.
