I am a stay at home wife, he makes good money so we mutually decided to keep our weekends open by not having me work a part time job which they would likely need weekend help. I'm limited with no diploma and transportation, the transportation won't be an issue long and i will be getting out more when that time comes. I have tried to get a GED, i have been unable to retain what i learn, need more help than just tutoring, learning has always been a struggle for me. The GED tests have become extremely difficult to pass. I will give it my best shot again.

My confession, lately people have been making remarks yet none of them are willing to be of help. Its normal for others to wonder what i do with myself then its another thing when they feel comfortable in just being downright rude and judgmental about it. I don't ask for any finical help, my house and cars are paid in full, i have no kids, i am not on welfare of any kind, i do have health insurance as well as insurance on damn near everything i own, i don't blow money shopping, and i do get out and am a happy person.

What is so wrong about being a stay at home wife? And we already made a back up plan in the event of my husband dying so i can comfortably make ends meet which i would relocate and get a job. I have always been very willing to work and up for meeting new people along the way. I'm just not employed right now. I keep things clean, keep my husband happy, and i do most of the cooking. Now i do worry about the future but i have nobody other then my husband to talk to about it. If i was doing what i want, i would earn that GED and get a career doing something that i like and would be good at. Being a drop out was not my choice but i still want to finish and do something with my life.

Thankfully there are courses you can take on the internet. I don't know where you live but many areas have courses available in the evening at community colleges.
You will do better is you find a subject you are passionate about.

Also try some bulletin boards (on-line chat)for support groups in your area.
