When I was in high school we got out early one afternoon because of a PTA meeting. When I got home I heard this weird noise coming from my parents bedroom. Dad, I knew was working so I slipped back, the door was open and some fellow was on top of mom pounding away. I noticed the sliding closet door open. I slipped in there without being noticed. About that time all hell broke loose. Dad came home a little early and mom and her lover panicked. Mom told her lover to hide in the closet and she put on her gown and went in to meet dad. Her lover was dressing in the closet, not knowing I was in there. After he was dressed and settled down I moaned, "It's cold in here." He started chewing me out. I told him to be quiet 'cause dad was out there and he is a jealous dad. But I kept saying, "It's cold in here." He kept trying to quieten me down. Finally I told the man "I have a baseball here. Do you want to buy it?" He asked why should he buy a baseball and I said' My dad's out there." He asked how much I wanted for it and I said $80. He reached in his pocket and gave me $80, I suppose to keep me quiet. After a while I said, "I have a baseball glove here. You want to buy it?" Again he asked, "What do I want with a baseball glove?" I said, "My dad's out there." So he asked, "How much do you want for it?" And I said, "$700." He reached in his pocket again and gave me $700. Mom persuaded dad to got to the store for something so her lover could escape. It worked. One day later dad came home from work and while just sitting around he asked me to get my ball and glove and we would play catch. I told him I didn't have one anymore, I had sold them. He said, "Sold it? How much did you get for it?" I told him, "$80 for the ball and $700 for the glove." He got hysterical, "$80 and $700? We didn't pay near that much for that." He is a really Patriotic Catholic. He directed me to get in the car, what I had done was a sin and he wanted me to confess. So we drove to Church where he had me enter the Confessional and wait. I did. Soon the Priest entered his side and as he was getting settled I said, kinda under my breath, "It's cold in here." The Priest said, "You're not gonna start that shit again are you?"
