Yeah vote for the democrats, then instead of hearing how our country is fighting for our rights, you can read about the pres getting his knob gobbled under the table like the last one.
I'd rather read about that than about peopole being tortured.
What are you all on crack or something? The Kerry-Edwards Campaign is quickly on its way to complete failure just like the Gore campaign did. It will be a Re-Election whether you think so or not. Kerry is not the guy who can run this nation. He is not fit for this job and either is Edwards. Don't believe me?.....The polls don't mean crap. Sorry to burst your bubble. But its all true. All arrows point to a re-election, certainly not a Kerry-Edwards win.
So what you're saying is that a coke-head that lead our country into an ill concieved war is fit to lead our country. Good call dip shit.
Can you give us a reason why Kerry isn't a fit leader? Dipshit.
For the love of Christ? Do you really know what that means?
It's funny how sometimes others blame one person for the degradation of a country when they have only been in office for four years. One person can only do so much. It is up to the ones to who want to make things better and the ones who vote and believe in something , to decide what will make this country a more prosperous and worthwhile society. Did Bush cause Vietnam too? Everyone has a hand to do a part in society, What is the good that you've done? What have you done to make your own community better? You can't just blame one person for the state that this country is in. You can't knock Bush for trying to defend this country rather than doing nothing as in past administrations. The terrorists had those tragedies planned before Bush took office. In another administration what do you think you would have done to cover all bases to ensure that there where no other incidences such as on 9/11/01?
One person can only do so much. True, EXCEPT if he is the President of the United States!
He or *She*
I agree that this election is very important. However, neither candidates are much choice. It's really important to research their voting records!
We have a politician that leads us into an unjust war for oil, and has a shady military record that can't be verified. The other spent his time in the service complaining about how our troops were baby killers. He supported, and is pictured with, Jane Fonda.
One is for big business, especially oil. the other's wife and her family are VERY big business, owning companies throughout the world. How will family ties play into the way government treat businesses?
Most people don't realize that politicians cater to their largest contributors, or the strongest lobby group. It's not the President, Senators, or Congress that make decisions- its the money.
All politicians should be mandated to live in the poorest area of districts, and support their family on the median income of that area. The rest of their salary can be banked. You could bet that they would have a different view.
I'm voting for Ralph Nader because both the Democrats
and Repubicans are pulling the minds of the American
people. I used to be a Democrat when Clinton was Presi-
dent, but now they too are just no good like the Repub-
licans.
Don't you guys realize that the President is only the figurehead and spokesman for the country? It's the boys in the back room that you should be considering because they run the country.
The vote for president sucks now anyway. It's always ruined by propaganda and it always turns into "who do you not want for president?" Vote Nader... he's tried enough already hasn't he? Let him have it ;)
A few points
A Kerry/Edwards ticket will blame every thing wrong during their administration on Bush - no accountability
Bush will either make it work, which is possible or won't. Either way it's his history. Changing now won't work in Iraq. Lincoln's senior military leader ran against him during the Civil War. Think about how that would play in today's media election coverage.
In every major war we won, we were lossing more years than we were winning. Let it develop.
The war is not about oil.
It would have been easier for Bush's re-election if he did not go down this path. So much for self-preservation.
Last election I voted for Nader.
