This was back when. My coworker and I were sitting for the state licensing exam and we had to go to the city to take it. We rode together. We each took our room at the motel and everything was fine, we went to dinner and back to our room to get ready for the exam the next day.

We missed the exam. We woke up together, and we were not just coworkers any more, we got fired for missing the exam, we had to scrounge every penny while one of us got a job, we moved in together and we are still together.

We did go back on the next exam date and passed our license exam. This time we shared a room from the start.
