Two friends and myself were invited to go sailing with one of the partners of the firm I work for.

Everything that afternoon was fine. The only problem, is that spending all afternoon with him got me very close to him.

He is the perfect man. He is nice, smart, kind, rich, and what he did to me after we got back from sailing changed the whole way I look at him. He knows he has this effect on me, and he plays me, and I'm putty in his hands.

He is so out of my league, why he even wants to spend time with me, he could have any woman he wants.

He has taken me to gettogethers with other partners and their wives and he shows me off. Everyone is so nice, and polite. No one ever says anything negative. I feel so out of place, I don't know how to behave, and I am so much younger than everyone.

I have asked him if he is playing with me, and he says no. It is too much to ask, that a man like that would look at me.

He has made me tell him I am in love with him. After he made me do that, I have nowhere to hide. He calls me a pet name, when we are together just the two of us. He also teases me about changing my name.

I am so afraid that one day he is just going to tell me to move along and leave me beside the road.

I have never been so insecure in my life. I am usually very in charge of my life.

Hey! Maybe he LIKES you. Maybe he see's something in you that he finds irresistible. Go with it. Don't keep backing away, but don't get so clingy that his perception of you changes. Just watch how he and the others conduct themselves. Try to learn to act a little more upscale. Remember the old 90's TV show, Dharma and Greg? Sometimes opposites just simply attract. Best Wishes.
