"Silver Dollar"
My paternal grandfather's nick-name was, "Silver Dollar". I barely remember him because he passed away when I was young. My paternal grandmother was diabetic and when I was 12 she lost her last leg becoming, becoming a double amputee. My dad has 3 older sisters and 2 brothers but my grandmother came to live with us, and it broke my heart when she passed away. I'm an only child who lost my mother 8 years ago and my dad passed away suddenly last June.
I started probe and of course had to empty dad's lock-boxes at the 2 banks where I located some rare 1800's Silver Dollars - in both lockboxes. In dad's fire proof file cabinet were more rare late 1800 and early 1900 Silver Dollars. I found eight-hundred and eight-one rare Silver Dollars. My grandfather saved those Silver Dollars for his and my grandmothers old age. Of course my father inherited them and never cashed them in, and now they are mine. I had always been told my grandfather's nick-name "Silver Dollar was because he saved Silver Dollars. And according to my grandmother had cashed in several thousand dollars in Silver Dollars the last few years of his life.
Last week I went to visit my grandfather's 92 year old brother and as we were talking I told him I was in the process of having the Sliver Dollars evaluated, and early determinations is I own my grandfather, and father, a very special "thanks". He laughed and smiled as he said, "being hung like a horse does pay off." I was dumb founded with his comment and said, "what did you say, uncle Jim?" He repeated the same comment. I said, "I have no idea what your talking about." He said, "did your dad never tell you why daddy's nick-name was "Silver Dollar?" I said, "sure. Papa saved Silver Dollars". He rolled his head back with a belly laugh. He said, as you know daddy (my grandfather) worked for a feed and seed company when he was in his 20's - traveled all over the south. He said. Daddy would go to bars and pool halls and bet the patrons if they laid 13 Silver Dollars in a line he dick would push them into the floor. No one would believe any man was that hung, so they laid the coins in a line on a table and dad would reel out his dick, lay it beside the 13 Silver Dollars and push them off into the floor. That's how your grandfather got the nick-name "Silver Dollar", and how you have some to inherited over 800 dollars in silver dollars - his dick pushed off the table. in a pool hall or bar."
I asked uncle Jim, "papa had 13 inches soft?" He said no, "daddy had 13 inches hard, but on soft it was the size of 50 cents. Daddy was a grower and not a shower." I said, "you saw this?" He said, me and your dad and your uncle Clive were with him when several times when he won 13 Silver Dollars. On the way home daddy gave each of us 3 to keep our mouths shut. And no, neither of his sons' inherited his gene for a big dick. Did it jump a generation?" I laughed and said, "maybe 9 Silver Dollars, uncle Jim?". He said, "yep, it definately jumped our generation."
