When all this started I was 23, a recent graduate with an accounting degree, starting a new job at a privately held company. One week after I started, the executive secretary quit (a personal issue and she had to move to another state). The CEO called HR to find a replacement really fast, and they came to talk to me and pretty much told me I had to take the job, because a) I was female, b) I was new, and c) the HR reason, I had business degree. I had not desire to be an admin assistant, for the CEO or anyone else, I had gone to college to pursue a career.

One meeting with the CEO and I was sitting behind the executive assistant desk. He would not take NO for an answer, I was exactly what he had always been looking for, young and female (I didn't kid myself about all of the other BS about my degree, and helping him, what he liked was young and female). One week into the job and he told me I had to accompany him on a trip to Dallas. He needed me there. I asked around and the other secretary never went anywhere.

He buried me in paperwork, I worked from the room, except when he called for me to bring him stuff, he worked me to tears, I couldn't take it. I told him he could have the job, I didn't want it. He told me I couldn't quit because he hadn't let me go. When he didn't want me he would fire me, otherwise get the job done.

For dinner he almost forgot about me. As an afterthought, he asked me join him and his business people. He addressed me as his 'new girl' and sat me beside him. The talk was all business, the only attention he paid me is he kept tapping my thigh and grabbing my hand under the table.

After dinner and after the business men left he asked me to the bar for a night cap, I refused to drink, I drank water and he had some sort of whisky. He not only walked me to my room, he put his arm on my shoulder and told me to losen up, he wanted me fresh and with a smile on my face. I tried shoving his arm off of me, but he just pressed me against him. At the door he asked me if I wanted to be alone. I said YES, thank you but I did not need any company. He said, he needed company and waked in the room with me. He didn't like the room and told me we should go back to his room. I said NO, I wasn't going back to his room, and he said YES, I was going, he wanted company and he wasn't staying in that room. And he wanted me to stop acting like a shit, he didn't hire me to say no to him. He let me brush my teeth and use the bathroom, and he held the door of the room open for me and reminded me that we had a flight early in the morning and he wanted to get to bed.

I walked behind him, all the way to this room, I went in and stood there and asked what he was going to do to me. He told me to stop acting like a shit, I was grown up and not a kid, if I wanted to get anywhere in life, I needed to get my act together. He sat on the bed and told me to get undressed, he wanted to see me. I undressed and stood there, he pulled me over and kissed my breasts, first one and then the other. Then he took me by the hand to the side of the bed and told me to turn down the bed and get in and he undressed. Sex was uneventful. I did not cooperate. He told me I was the worst fuck he had ever had. And I told him he deserved it.

We never took two rooms again, not on any of the many trips we took, he introduced me as his girl, he started taking me to the meetings, he started to make me negotiate and argue his points, he prepped me, but I had to argue the points. When we won, it was sex all night long. If we lost it was sex and quiet time afterwards.

One day at breakfast, this was five years later, I asked him to make me his wife. I was going to be 29, I had worked for him for five years, I slept with him every night, whether we were traveling or back in town. I still had an in name only apartment, but I lived with him. I asked him nicely, no demand. He told me he was married, separated but married, he had never mentioned that.

We flew to where his wife lived and it was a business meeting of sorts. She denied him divorce and told me that what I had was all I was going to get. Divorce, without her consent, was going to cost him everything. He asked me to choose, give her everything, or live like we were. I chose divorce. I chose him divorcing and marrying me.

He chose to stay married to her. I got nothing.
