I'm a 'mail order bride' now an american citizen and I was going to leave my husband after I got citizenship but now I am thinking. He paid a lot of money for me, over $2000 I think. If I left him, would that not be like stealing?

If he bought and paid for me, does that make me his property? I want to leave but if I did I think it would be wrong, I should stay and honor the arrangement. If I'm his property I should act like it.

Do you love him? Any children involved? Sometimes we use things to make us not believe in what we know to be true.

He bought you he owns you, Would you disgrace your family now?, Behave as you were taught to be a wife and look after him that is your duty.

I'm not in love with him and we don't have any children, but I chose to become a mail order bride and I married him with full vows to love and obey. I think, even though I had intended to leave him, the honorable thing to do would be to stay and submit to him. He can do as he wishes with his property, it is his right. I'm going to stay.
