So, I started working at a maid cafe a year ago. As a maid. I figured hey, I look good in a dress, they use the fact that I'm cross dressing as a selling point so people know, surely plenty of my customers will be women, right?

Well, in a year, every single one has been a guy, and at least a quarter of my customers ask for me specifically. Which I guess I should be proud of, I mean I'm making plenty of money from returning customers who tip well, but I think they assume I'm gay, or at least bisexual, or that I'm transgender or something. I'm not.

I stay working here because I make bank but I started because I thought I'd be serving women tea and crumpets, not spoonfeeding and massaging gross weeaboos who look at me like the only reason I'm not tied up in their basement is because it's illegal and they don't know who I am outside of work.

I can't express to them how creepy they act toward me, either, because I have to stay in character. I have to act like I'm having fun and I don't notice them trying to look up my skirt, or sneaking the paper napkin I just used into their pocket, or staring at the front of my skirt I assume hoping to see a bump, or that they intentionally dropped something so I'd bend down to pick it up.

I've run into a couple of these guys outside of work, had to talk to one of them, and I count myself extremely lucky they didn't recognize me without the bare minimum makeup I wear at work. Partly because I think I can technically get in trouble for it at work? I'll have to ask.

I don't plan on quitting, but the day I get a female customer will be the happiest day of my life since starting work here. I won't care if she's just as much of a gross pervert as the guys, hell I won't care if she's worse, at least she'll be a woman.

Sorry, sweetie. I've been to maid cafes before where a few of the maids were cross dressers, but I always assumed they were gay so I didn't pick them. I'll have to keep you in mind next time I get to go to one and pick one of them out.

Perhaps you should consider re-evaluating your sexuality. I believe you when you say you're straight, but if you started doing this because you wanted to serve people you were attracted to and now you're stuck serving men, it may be something to consider and experiment with outside of work.

Try hooking up with another guy, ideally while crossdressing, and find out if there's any possible way you can be attracted to men, too. Perhaps you aren't repulsed by them because they're men but because they're repulsive.

Either way, if there were some hint of same sex attraction there for you, you could channel that and maybe enjoy your work a bit more. They might tip even better if you can give more subconscious cues that you're enjoying serving them, too.

Chances are, even if they're not consciously aware of it, they can tell you're not having as much fun as you act like you are. Having something you do enjoy about it to draw from could add authenticity to your acting.

Just be careful. Customers in those situations can get attached for no good reason. Happens at strip clubs, places like hooters, even regular restaurants. They think because you're being pleasant to them as a a customer that you actually have a relationship with them. Make sure to report stalking behavior and harassment.
