I am 37. Twenty years ago I was on drugs, in a house and two men were negotiating for me. I was hungry and dirty. He took me to eat, and helped me clean up in the restroom. He bought some clothes for me at a Target and drove the five hours to my parent's house and dropped me off. I saw him wait until the door opened and he left.

I want him to know I got well, I went to college, got married and have three kids.
