I lucked out with a "friend with benefits," Becky, who is a flight attendant with a European airline and is based in New York City. About a month later Becky and I went to dinner together and I asked about Lizbeth. Becky said, "As it turned out, she was the vector for 36 cases of gonorrhea and the health authorities are still tracking down on the list. I told Becky that I did not know whether Lizbeth fucked around that much or if everyone fucks around that much. Some time later I told Teddy and he said, "I dodged another bullet. At least fucking different partners helps me hone down my instincts."
