When I was in college, my ex and I used to have extremely, obnoxiously loud sex. and people used to get upset with me for it. They said it was annoying, disgusting, and rude.
Somehow I always managed to never end up on the other side of the stick in this case. Nobody ever did that near my room.
Well, it finally happened (4 years later) that my upstairs neighbors who don't know me at all decided to bang on the floor, and I did NOT have even remotely the same reaction I got from other people in college.
It wasn't annoying. It wasn't rude. It wasn't disgusting.
That girl was screaming upstairs, my sexual instincts kicked in, and I strangely wanted to tag team the screaming girl.
I've never felt that way about sex before.

Years ago, I lived in the upstairs part of a 2-apartment converted garage (which was fairly big, actually), and one of my revolving door of downstairs neighbors was a tough-looking but nice biker couple, Dan and Leslie (name change). She was a smoking hot, instant hard-on blonde, so sexy and gorgeous, and he was your average, bulky biker dude. I used to hear them going at it, loud, all the time. She was a shrieker during sex, high-pitched, but then would get this low, sensual moan, like a roaring tiger. Their bedroom was right below my oil hearing grate, so I heard them nearly every night. Pounding off the bed, the sounds, all of it.

When he kicked her out one night, she was gone. Dan used to come upstairs to my apartment, asking if I had certain foods or soups, that he'd add to what he was cooking, then give me some of the final product. I admit, I was sad to see the sexy, pure desire blonde go, but I did eat well until he left, too.

I told him about the sounds one night (helped along by a few beers), and he laughed, saying "Yeah, she was a loud one..I fucked her on my running bike once and still heard her". Of course, she left before Summer tanning season arrived. I'd loved to have seen her in a tiny bikini..
