I'm reaching out for some help here. I feel very ashamed and confused. The other day I walked in on my son and his girlfriend having sex. I got home early from work and had no idea they'd be there. Shocked he jumped up and grabbed whatever to cover himself up, the girl must've been more mortified then he was. I just gave him that look a mother gives a child when they disapprove of something and walked to the kitchen. All day and night I kept replaying what I had walked in on and found that it was making me horny. It's been a few days now and I find at various point of the day my mind wanders back to that. Embarrassingly enough I even pleasured myself once or twice to the thoughts of what I saw. Making this even worse I even find myself jealous of his girlfriend. Is this normal? My gut tells me absolutely not but since I saw this I have thought about but would never act upon fucking my own son. Now whenever we're in the same room I picture his exposed dick out and immediately want to go please myself. Even when my husband or other children are around. Please tell me how I'm supposed to accept this or better yet how do I stop this from happening? I am so depressed because of this.

Just be calm and enjoy your trip and stop giving yourself meaningless headaches. Life
tumbles along and needs no negative input from us.

#1 are you trying to tell me don't stress out over this? That I should just go with the feelings I've been experiencing and that whatever happens or doesn't happen is where I'm supposed to be? Because I really don't think I'm supposed to be secretly obsessing over my own sons dick. I don't think I'm supposed to be in the shower with my eyes closed pleasuring myself pretending he's inside of me. So my question remains the same to anyone who can possibly help me here. How do I stop these thoughts and urges because they seem to be occurring more and more. Seeing him around the house makes it even harder.

Fantasy is one thing. Reality is another. Keep your feelings to yourself unless your son makes the first move. You are his mother not his girlfriend that is a boundary you cannot uncross.

If being stressed out helps you then just allow it. If you find stress is
a negative mind set to hold on to that is psychologically and physically
hurtful, put your mind elsewhere and stop indulging in it. We have the capacity
to control our thinking.

This is probably the wrong place to come for advice on this, but here goes. I see four options for you.

1. If you're really and truly feeling depressed by it, see a professional don't rely on random internet strangers.

2. Redirect the energy. Start fucking your husband like a $2 whore. If hubby being absent or unable is the source of the daydreams, consider an affair.

3. If 2. is a nonstarter for you for whatever reason, hit the gym, throw yourself into work or a hobby to burn off the energy you're wasting on unrequited lust.

4. Start dropping hints like concrete blocks and flashing your son to see if he can be brought on board with the idea of hauling his Mom's ashes on a regular basis.

Agree with Commenter #5.

There was a woman last year that posted the identical problem, except she was divorced
and lived alone with her adult son.
Her desires got even more intense when she happened to check out his laptop and discovered that his favorite porn was mother-son stuff.
She was in a panic, distraught because it was ALL she could think about

You sound just as upset.
I suggested the 4th item on Commenter #5's list.
So around her son she started wearing more revealing clothes..
short shift dresses with nothing under... robes left untied...
naked with the bedroom door left open when he was home..

Eventually, something happened.
Last I heard they were at it like rabbits.
It was the best sex she'd ever had.

The taboo is strong but this occurs in our culture a lot more than people think.
It's not my particular thing, but I can see how it might happen.

I don't judge and to me it's actually hotter because of the taboo.
I think it's better than skull-phukking yourself with guilt or spending $1000's on pointless therapy.
