You aren't being a prude. Usually the daughter or father will feel like once the signs of puberty arrive, it is time for showering together to end. Unless something sexual has been going on between them. If that were the case, why would he have you move in?

If you're trying to create some message or point here, you've done a poor job. Furthermore, you or any of the respondents shouldn't try to portray yourselves as anything but progressives either.
