My good friend approached me on my feelings about polyamorous relationships. To be honest I thought she said polygamy. My first answer was it's crazy. She asked me to think about it, her husband was interested in me. Well after saying no the subject it was out there and she asked me to think about it.

At dinner with her husband he proposed to me. She didn't speak she let him speak but she held my hand waiting for my response. I didn't answer him, I asked her if this is what she wanted, polygamy. She said yes, with me.

After some legal paperwork, we had a ceremony, not sanctioned by the state. I am the beneficiary of a support agreement. I moved in after going on a 'honeymoon' with him. I adjusted to living with my friend, living with him as a wife took longer. Well over a year. We have worked out a bedroom arrangement and he got the single room and we got the master. Mostly because as women we share more life matters than men and women. We receive him but he returns to his bed. This is the most difficult part of our marriage. Mind you we are not jealous, but sometimes we are. You can't help wanting the attention. We do not do kink, he gives his attention to us one wife at a time.

Polygamy is hard, our parents are not in agreement, most people we know assume we are sex freaks. The legal situation is difficult. I really believe it would be better if the wives were married now that same sex is legal, and we work on a maintenance agreement for both wives, but I am not a lawyer. I say this because I feel women do better together, and what about children, that is a real likelihood now.

If you are polygamous or want to be polygamous let us have your thoughts.
