I'm not giving him anything to yak about. I asked him for 10 minutes of silence and he just won't shut up. I don't ask for much just silence once in a blue moon.

With most couples, it's the man who wants the woman to shut the hell up. Maybe he's just too in touch with his feminine side. Is he also wearing your undergarments? Perhaps he posted the "Feminine Side" prattle - in which case, I would recommend a carefully planned murder/execution.
Really, I think you are just unimginative.
When he gets on a yakkin' jag - go do the grocery shopping, or jeez, just go for a ride, or a walk, or to see your mother, or somewhere he is unlikely to want to accompany you.
