Lesbian Female / 56
Skirted With DISASTER
As a teen I would never have imagined that one day I would say I am a lesbian. Nor as a college student, nor as a young recently married woman expecting my first child. I did the thing, was a good girl, good student, got a degree in History, got married right out of college, had three kids bing, bang, boon.
I met a woman at 33. She is an artist, painting and sculpture. She was the lesbian, she pushed me over the edge. After my first go around in bed with her I was guilty from head to toe, I rationalized no penetration so it really wasn't cheating. I could not contain my guilt and confessed the whole sordid thing to my husband. His answer was typical, don't cry over spilled milk, just don't do it again.
I didn't do what he told me not to do. I was in another world, no penetration meant no sex, I confessed, every time. He did not agree with the penetration excuse, he said I was having an emotional affair and that's the rub. He also had me meet with a divorce lawyer, a female lesbian divorce lawyer. She walked me through life after divorce economic DISASTER. Her advice, stay married, stop messing around.
I also went to a sex therapist, her advice was follow your lust. Economic DISASTER won the day.
I am 56, a first time grandma, I will take care of my little granddaughter so her mother can go back to work. She is an OB-GYN.
