Men Are Men And Women Are Women
How can I say this and not get blasted. I like to be around men who know how to keep women in line. Please, not men who beat women, or are ugly to them, I am talking about men like my father. He was the boss, you did what he said, no one questioned him. Yes sometimes your feelings were hurt but he had the last word and that was that, you shut up and obeyed.
My mother told me once when I was dating in college that the guy was a woos, a mommy boy, she looked at me straight on, he had no balls. I was young, learning to be an adult, today I know what she meant. My father told me that he was not a man in the world of men. That did it, I could see that. My father would never have given me the blessing to marry a woos.
Yes, when my husband says it's time to go, it's time to go. When he denies me a pair of shoes, or even when he puts his foot down and I have to stay home, even if my feelings are hurt I obey. My husband is not an ogre, but he is firm and the women bend, but we don't break. When it is dinner time, there are men folk and women folk, a father and mother, brothers and sisters. The women folk prepare and serve, we serve because we want our men folk to know we respect them, love them and it is our place to serve them. We are not less than them, we are the women, they are the men.
I was raised to be a wife and mother, I raise my daughters to be wives and mothers, my husband teaches my sons to be men, one day they will have women of their own. I don't ever want to hear that they cannot walk in the world of men.
