Loving Her Brought Me To Her, Now She Loves Me Back
My official job title is Personal Secretary to Mrs. X. She is one year older than me. I have worked for her for three years. She and her husband are wealthy members of very wealthy families.
During the Pandemic I moved into their house. I am in the family quarters not with the staff, I live with them. Before COVID I vacationed with them, flew in their plane or with them in commercial first class, stayed at the same hotels, same floor, meals, entertainment, all with them. We are on a first name basis, the staff uses Mr. and Mrs., and Miss.
This COVID has brought more than frustration and isolation. No summer holiday abroad, we went to the family compound in the UP instead. For the last five months she sleeps in my room, my bed, ostensibly to distance herself from her husband because he has to deal with his business. Five months of sharing a bed. Her two kids live around me all day, they hold onto me as well as their mother.
I don't see things changing, I can't see her returning to her husband's room. Whatever is inside of her calls out to be with me. COVID has tipped the balance, now it is her and I in bed on Saturday with the kids crawling in bed with us. I don't correct them any more when they call me Mommy. When she asks her kids how many Mommies they have. When she refers to me as being hers.
I am not an employee, not anymore. Instead of Personal Secretary I am Significant Other, lover, Mommy, best friend, member of the family. I took this job because I was in love with her, now she is in love with me too. Across the hall is her husband, now when he knocks I don't leave her alone with him.
