- I Hate My Neighbor -

MY neighbors are the most ignorant, selfish, crude people that I have had the unfortunate luck to move next to. They play loud music, let their dog bark all the time(keep it caged) and are downright mean to me. They try and do anything they can to intimidate,pass rude comments and keep their home like it should be a grass hut in the jungle. Other neighbors hate them as well. Their kids run wild and run all over the neigborhood in and out of people's private properties. The people that live in my development have asked them nicely to not let their kids play ball and almost break windows out etc. We have all had enough. They have friends that are somewhat scary and everyone is afraid to approach them (except me). Any ideas on how to tame these rude people?

Your not going to tame them. You are not going to get them to be considerate to you or the other neighbors. They don't have it in them. They are going to continue to stomp all over the rights of others as long as they think they can. They put off a defense persona to keep away and intimidated. I would be hard pressed to think that any of their friends, if push came to shove, would get involved in neighborhood stuff. There are laws for situations like this. Most of their friends are probably on probation or parole anyway and need to stay out of controversy. Regardless, stand up for yourself. Get with some of the other neighbors and when your rights are violated either call the police or a local resolution dispute center to help. In my area we have "Peace Keepers" who are 3rd party listeners and try to assist both side to come up with a peaceful resolution. As far as ball, when they break something, and they will, have the parents pay for it. That will put a stop to that! The best to you.

Why can't you do that? Wear a black ski mask and black clothes. Ride into the neighborhood on an old bike. After the deed, ride to a lonely spot, dismantle the bike, bag the clothes. Toss the bad into a large dumpster behind any fast food joint and scatter the bike parts along a lonely road.

As I remember the story about Skidmore, someone shot the offending man to death in broad daylight, but the victim had frightened and assaulted so many townspeople that no one would cooperate with the authorities in solving the crime.
If you stick at throwing a molotov cocktail at the offending house, how then will you use the murderous example suggested?!

OMG, I have the same problem. Ghetto ass neighbors. After having all f'ing day to be loud and dance to their freaking jungle music, they decide it'll be more fun to do this at 10 p.m. The walls to my house are so thin, that it really feels as though they are inside my bedroom. They were told twice to keep it down and they did. For about a minute!!!! Then slowly but surely they turned the music back up. I had enough and told them off.

Mornings are just as bad. All you hear is that bitch ass foster mom of theirs screaming up a storm. I've called the social worker on her ass a few times, but do they do anything about it? Of course not! I guess yelling and screaming AND beating the crap out of your kids is not abuse! I cant wait to get the hell out of this neighborhood.
