Heres my story...i knew a girl named Casie for 4 years before i met the woman i'm current married to, ironicly enough, also named Kaycie (same name, different spelling). i've alwasy been great friends with the first, and when she lived near me we dated and i've always felt a love for her that i've never had with anyone else before. but then i met my current wife a couple years after casie moved and she had me doing some of the dumbest things i've ever done...joined the army for one...so after knowing her for 5 months i proposed to her, then went to basic training for 6 months, came back and got married 2 months later which i thought was way too soon at the time, but still went through with it. We had only known one another for a little over a year when we got married...and only been physically together for 7 months. well, we've been married since march and now i'm wanting out...it was a huge mistake as i know now i still am in love with casie, just as i always knew i was...why i proposed, i dont know...many of my friends and family members think it was a mistake and many think i did it because kacyie reminds me so much of casie...i'm really at a loss of things to do here...i know i should be going to a real counselor but money is tight so i'm turning here with the off chance that someone insightful says something...

You've made a step in the right direction by acknowleging that you made a mistake. If I were you, I'd cut my losses now before you do something really stupid, like have a baby. Divorce is never easy, but if you've not purchased a home or any other large ticket items, all the better when it comes time to divide property.

Is Casie still interested in you? Is she unmarried? Do you correspond or are you sorting this out in your own head first before you rekindle your relationship with Casie?

It sounds like you're young. Maybe it would be best for you to be on your own for a while before starting another relationship. Are you currently in the military? Have you or do you plan to do any continuing education? Work on yourself first. Find out what you are all about before jumping in to another relationship either with Casie or someone else.

As for Kaycie...be honest with her. Level with her and tell her just what you wrote here. She's going to be mad and hate you for it, but in the years to come, she'll thank you for saving her from a loveless marriage or worse.

There is never a good time to do this. (I guess her birthday, Christmas, at the movies wouldn't be so hot, but you know what I mean) Gather your thoughts, and your courage. Be humble, don't give reason why your doing this that has anything to do with her doing something wrong. It's going to be messy. I'm sure she loves you and will have a hard time believing this is happening to her. Be ready for a very emotional time, but be a man about it. Don't just bail on her. Help her move out, if she's the one going, do whatever you can to make this transition easy for her. With a little luck, you might just be able to remain friends after the dust clears.

Good luck, let us know how you make out.

If he didn't have any morals he'd keep the wife and cheat with the girlfriend.
