My neighbors are trying to "keep up with the Jones". Every time someone does something, they try and do it one step better. I hope they have and expansive wallet.

Man, can I relate. I hate where I live. Monday and Tuesday I had replacement windows put in. My one neighbor sat on his porch with binoculars to see what was going on. These windows were not inexpensive - I paid thousands of $ for them. With heating bills the way they are I had to do something to prepare for this upcoming winter. Well, my other neighbor who seems to base her projects on mine, stopped her car as she drove by and said "new windows huh? I'm going to apply for a weatherization program through the county, all I'm waiting for is my SSD statement" - Man, what do you say to that? Good for You!!! Abuse every governmental program you can while you smoke weed all day and pay for your husbands DWI's! Not to mention the fact that you use your maiden name when dealing with Social Security and car insurance so they don't know that your living with an alcoholic, who has not 1 but 2 DWI's, and that he is actually working (all under the table of course) so that her SSD income won't be touched. But you go ahead and apply for that program - and the kicker will be - it won't cost her a cent. Jealous - no - mad as hell that I support all these program through my taxes to help people who won't help themselves.

You know what? I've got my house just the way I want it. I guess she felt like she was not doing enough to make everyone look at her house and go "WOW". I don't decorate my house for other folks, I decorate it for ME.
