Our new neighbors are awful!! The people that lived there before were awesome and became pretty good friends of ours, but decided to sell because they wanted something bigger (she just had twins). The people they sold to are sooo stupid. We live in a partially wooded neighborhood, so all are backyards have lots of trees and are very scenic. We came home from vacation this past weekend to find a woodchipper and a small dump truck in our driveway. These morons not only cut down all their trees (why buy a wooded lot in the first place, asshole?!), but tore down all of the foliage on their chainlink fence (grapevine, wild roses)and now it's like we have absolutely no privacy from them. They stare directly into our backyard. What's worse is they entertain constantly. There's always a ton of people out there. On top of the whole tree thing, they made a ginormus mess of the driveway, never once asked if they could even use it and then today, they were at it again! Talk about inconsiderate! Their actions are beyond rude! I HATE THEM. Needless to say, I called a fence company, they're coming tomorrow for an estimate, and these assholes can have a wonderful view of our nice new white privacy fence in about a week's time hopefully. Bastards. Think they'll get the hint I'm f***ing pissed?!

Why not take a few cleansing breaths, go to your imaginary "happy place" and just let it go. Life's too short to get your panties in a bunch about minor inconveniences. Save your wrath for the big stuff. You'll live a lot longer.

In defense of the original poster, these "minor inconveniences" you speak of don't seem minor when they affect your every day quality of living.

Yeah, some people don't know what they're talking about. I'd like to blast my neighbors with an AK-47.

It's times like these I wanna buy a shotgun :)

I TOTALLY understand where you're coming from with this post. Our neighbors on BOTH sides that we were really good friends with recently moved and were replaced by two terrible new families. There's the "anal yuppie" family with two small loud, obnoxious children; and the "old, lax and oblivious" one with 4 large loud, obnoxious teenagers.

I swear to god, if I hear that child scream (and yes, I know children scream, but the fact that the parents do shit nothing to make him stop kind of ticks me off.) to the point where I think a dozen elves with hacksaws are cutting down an entire forest*yeah yeah yeah shut my windows... It's summer. It's HOT. I shouldn't have to*. Or if one of the prepubescent boys in the other house decides to mow the lawn at 12am because they were too busy sailing to do it at an appropriate time ever again I'm going to make my shotgun owning dreams a reality and go to town on them.
