My neighbor seems to believe that since he has a new car no one should park in front of his house. If any one parks in front of his house he tells them to move. Recently he has come to my husband and told him if he sees him or his wife pull up to move his car. My husband told him he must be crazy. The neighbor seems to believe if you own property then you own the street in front of your house. He is crazy. This man does not work and drives around constantly all day long. He is very disruptive and curses loudly when any one parks in front of his house. He seems to think everyone is hating on him.

Well I personally don't like anyone parking infront of my house either BUT you do have that right. Just as long as your not blocking his ablilty to get in and out of his property or blocking him from parking infront of his own house. It is kind of rude to park in front of someones house if YOU dont live there. Don't you have your own drive way or house to park infront of????

Maybe I should have been more clear. We live in an urban area. The houses are close together with no driveways. He seems to think when he purchased his house the street in front of it was in the deal.

Technically, your neighbor doesn't have a deed to the street. But why park in front of his house at all? It's not his fault you were stupid enough to buy a vehicle knowing full well you had no place to park it. There is no way in hell I'd shell out money for a car if I had no garage to park it in, or at the very least, a carport off the street. True, your neighbor has no right to stop you parking in front of his house, but you're just asking for nails in your tires and sugar in your gas tank by parking your car totally unprotected on the street in front of his house. Owning a car in an urban area is more trouble than it's worth.
