Neglected Wife

Let me start off by saying that I love & adore my husband...

However my sex drive is MUCH higher than his & he isn't as attentive as he once was. At the moment struggling with ED.

It's hard to NOT let it get me down, depressed, anxious & starting to feel beyond frustrated & more resentful.. we are pretty much in a dry spell & I don't feel like he is attracted to me as much as he once was... I know he loves me without a doubt...

HOWEVER with the neglected, lack of effort on his behalf & only makes a effort as HE wants.

I have started to Think WHAT it would be like to have a Special Best Friend.... A woman that won't try to get between my husband, not interested in him at ALL but would have girls days, spa dates, home visits during the day & when husband travels for work.

My husband is the LAST Man I will even trust... I do not want a full affair..just best friends - with some fun, sexy moments alone & usual girl things too

I don't know if it is due to husband's LACK OF EFFORT... But I feel so worthless & unlovable.

Other guys are ALWAYS telling my husband that he is lucky to have me.. and he says he is attracted to me.

I just feel like I am UNLOVABLE, undesirable & why would you withhold from the one you love.

Confused wife...

I get you. My wife is like your husband. Nothing remotely sexual in 5 years. Love this girl to bits. But nothing. I am shattered and resigned to never have sex again .

Funny.

I went through all of that with what is now my ex-wife.

Its not just the fact you're not fooling around enough - it totally destroys your self esteem and self worth.

You need to do something or it will eat you alive from the inside out.

I wish you were near me - I'd ask you out for a cocktail

I can relate. Sex is vitally important in a relationship, to both men and women. It’s no wonder you’re starting to seek satisfaction elsewhere, and I have no doubt you will cheat if this goes on long enough. My husband and I recently ended a 2 week dry spell and I was DYING. We need dick!!

A lot of us guys for years have been in the same situation as you are facing. But nooo if you go out and try to find someone else to satisfy the needs your spouse should be fulfilling then you are crap. The ironic thing in my situation is, if you ask the wife she would say she provides sex all the time whenever I need it. Of course that is usually zero foreplay, get initiated with a "huh, wanna have sex?", and usually lasts 5 minutes. No sex is better than bad sex. Its easier and more satisfying to just do it myself. Too bad all of us horny people cant get together. So yeah I totally get you and don't blame you for wanting a FWB, I've thought about one myself.

You should seriously consider an open, honest conversation. Let your husband know how you're feeling. Without putting the blame on him (e.g., don't say, "you make me feel unwanted"), instead say, "I feel unwanted and I am craving physical and sexual connection. Can we talk about opening up our relationship?"

Try his dad on for size, Even better if it's his stepdad.

I love my daughter-in-law.

I hate myself for even having thoughts of a best friend. I honestly love, adore & desire my husband. I honestly think I have to accept that I am no longer what he desires?

Clearly others find me attractive & I have turned down many before we got married. I couldn't cheat. I rather go without.

It's just KILLING ME. My self-esteem, my confidence.. anxiety & depression has starred to creep in.

ALL I WANT IS TO FEEL DESIRED, TO MAKE LOVE & CONNECT WITH MY HUSBAND.

I fall asleep at night silently crying.. things START but suddenly he stops. I don't feel desired, wanted or like I am enough for him...

I completely agree - we need dick. But for me it's so much more than that. He knows I will NEVER turn him down. Talks about things he wants, things he loves, teases & plays... But NOTHING.

I give up. I'm clearly WHAT he wants. I would NEVER even get this female friend. I couldn't do it. To him. To her. To my marriage.

I just need to accept I'm not enough even though others have even told my husband how LUCKY he is & he agrees.

I guess our marriage is not how I ever thought my marriage would be....

Any chance he is Gay or seeing someone else?

He is not gay. He is MAD. It came out during a talk which he got frustrated & truth came out

I am being PUNISHED for things unrelated to me or our marriage. For not being a pushover & for communicating openly.

So I officially give up. I have tried everything. I have to shut up, put up with crumbs & "be happy"

Apparently I am the only one who is worried about our marriage & lack of INTIMACY. He wants SEXLESS, REJECTED & CONDIDION'S THEN I AM CUTTING OFF ALL SEX & INTIMACY. EVEN WHEN HE DECIDES HE DOES WANT IT. I HAVE BOUGHT A POCKET PUSSY FOR HIM & HE IS YET TO FIND OUT.

HE tries & I will hand it to him & turn to sleep.

This wife gives up & checking out.

Good luck to everyone else. Happy sexy times - I officially retire. Last time was October 2019. I can go the rest of my life without HIM & sex.

He has made it this way. Never use sex as a weapon like he did. It destroys ALL meaning, love & bond. Its actually repulsive to me now.

Do not do this to your husband or wife. Ever.

He killed our intimacy & him alone.
