Record the yells and screams, but call the police before he kills her for heaven's sake!!!
I'd be more concerned if there are kids involved in the abuse, or even animals, they all suffer if there's an abuser in the house.
Report it and be concerned, and ring your local domestic violence report hotline, as there's one in Australia, and they're very into this sort of thing here!
