Bisexual Question

I am a fifty-two year old woman, two grown children living on their own, and have been divorced for five years. A year ago, and this was something new to me, I began having a bisexual friendship with another woman, fifty-eight, divorced, and no children.
I really enjoyed this. It was so refreshingly uninhibited and fun. She has a large and very nice house where we would usually get together, and where I loved spending a good deal of time nude with her.
Things seemed just fine between us, and then she began declaring that she was a lesbian. That was okay with me, but she started to become very demanding and would accept my being nothing less than a committed lesbian, too.
I’ll be honest. I don’t really think of myself as a lesbian, just a female who is having some fun is all and enjoying the ability to do that with my own sex. I don’t feel any burning desire to tear down the “straight world” as she calls it, and install lesbian-kind. So needless to say, after she developed this chip on her shoulder, our relationship cooled considerably and of course I ended it. Since then I have missed my female fun and companionship.
My question is, can a woman who is basically straight just enjoy having a bisexual relationship without making it into “something”? Any opinions on this out there?

This is nothing new with lesbian women and gay men. For some reason, straight men or women never really think that when you say you're bisexual, that you will want to have sex and relationship with opposite sex. Well, inexperienced men usually think that you will bring a third woman into your relationship.

But very often, gay people think that when you say you're bisexual, that it means you will fuck with whatever moves. They haven't realized that relationship and love is completely different thing than your sexual life!

I think, I'm not sure, but because gays have been out in the open for so little time really, that majority of their relationship is running around sex. Like, sex is first, and relationship and all what belongs to it, is just the second. I don't know if you understand what I mean.

With straight people, it is almost like relationship first, and sex comes second. With that I mean that straight people understand what love is and that sex belongs to love, and not the other way around.

That's why gay people are afraid that when you say you're bisexual, that opposite sex is immediately a threat to them, because they seems to think you're not one hundred percent committed to the the relationship, which as you can understand is absurd. And there's one very good argument for that. Gay people haven't choose their sexuality. That's why they can't make you choose being a lesbian for the rest of your life.

Straight people will fall in love to person of opposite sex.
Gay people will fall in love to person of same sex.
Bisexual people doesn't care about sex, they fall in love to a person.

If she pressure you to become lesbian, it means that she needs to learn something about life. Do not let anyone push you into something which you are not.

I think you did the right thin to end your relationship.

There's one other thing too. You can have fun sex with whoever you like, and it won't make you gay, bisexual or even straight. Bisexuality, being straight or gay only defines one thing and that is who you will fall in love.

Sex and love are two separate things! So enjoy your fun.

I posted on here a few weeks ago. I am a straight male, and yes I've had sex with other boys and later men. I always wanted a woman, and stayed true, in college I was having sex with both. I had what sex was available to me at the time. It was about feeling good, and making someone else feel good. I never labelled myself, and I had attraction to women and yet had sex with them and with men.

Why should you be forced to have a label? Especially now that your a 52 yo adult in your sexual prime?

Why not? There's no set rule you need to"declare" being a lesbian. If you like an occasional cock, just say your bisexual and call it a day. Look for someone with the same opinion. Hope this helps.

I know what you mean. For the last ten years I have started to enjoy bisexual fridnships with other women. It's fun and easy and uncomplicated. Unfortunately I have had inetractions with lesbians and it has not been a very pleasant experience. They're too buch and man hating and controlling. This is not me! And they are so prejudice! They automatically think that just because you're a woman and you occassionally enjoying fucking with another women, that you are lesbian!
Get real!
