Just a hint. kids toys usually have somekind of a balls, and they don't cost much and nobody will think you're weird if you buy it. You can get them from shops, but you can get them also from fleamarkets! Buy a set, and because it is for kids, it is much safer to use inside you than other 3rd party toys. For a lube, use canola oil. Condoms, rubbers and plastics can stand canola oil and you can get a big bottle of it, and again, nobody will think you're weird when you buy one and it will last long time! You can safely use canola oil inside too and toys can handle it too!
I don't have any tips for ovipositor, but twenty years ago I used those two tips when I was young and couldn't get proper toys.
