Strong Willed Professional, Submissive Wife
Is it possible to be a feminist and a sub? My outside life is an activist feminist. I have been since college. I am an HR professional and I work hard to promote women, even if they are not the 'most' qualified. Any advancement of women is a good advancement, the price be damned.
My other life is private, no whips and chains, but sexually and emotionally submissive and compliant. The man in question, my husband, has a strong hold on me, at one time he was my boss, he is older, successful businessman, has held public office, influential in public and business, the proverbial patriarch.
If push comes to shove he will tell you feminism is bull shit. He humors me, but won't tolerate it under his roof. My daughters watch their language and opinions with me. They are submissives too, catering to their father and boyfriends. They don't support my views, sharing their father's views. I have to accept they need a strong man, both sexually and emotionally and will be the proverbial first grade teacher.
