My neighbor's have deliberately made horrible noise since I went to the landlord to make a complaint about them. I was hanging up a picture on the wall ( on a Saturday afternoon) and hammered twice to place the nail. It was the first time I used the hammer since the other walls already had nails (from previous tenant) I could use. I had heard hammering come from my neighbor's apt. since they moved in, so thought nothing of placing a nail in the wall. After I finished, my neighbor pounded his/her (white trash couple with small child lives there) fist so hard back on the wall a painting on another wall in my apt. crashed to the floor. After I contacted the landlord the neighbor left a note on my door making claims as if "I" were the problem. After this they started pounding on their walls, stomping up/down the stairs, slamming doors over & over again that rattle my entire apt., and making loud booming sounds that sound like a large explosion. I have repeatedly called the landlord regarding all this. He does nothing. They claim they are being quiet When I am home, and they are too, if I'm extremely quiet they don't make any noise, but if I flush the toilet or run the water then they know I'm home and their horrible noises begin. They know the landlord will do nothing to them, and if anything when I complained to the landlord and he called them they learned what noises upset me. When they start up I am sweaty, shaking, and very upset. I hate being in my apartment. I can't enjoy being at home. I am planning on moving ASAP, but before then I have planned a "little" noise for them. Whenever they start up, I'm going to prop a board against the wall I share with them, and turn on an engraver I checked out at the library. It sounds like a jack hammer, and rattles the whole wall. After I move out I plan to send an anonymous large package of dog shit to them from dogdoo.com labelled "You" on the inside package of dog crap.
I have lived in apartment's for over 20 years, and have never had a problem with neighbor's like this before. I have had noisy neighbor's before, but nothing personally directed at me. It has been extremely stressful.
