Was It A Mistake?

Just for fun a friend and I messed around together some and I let him butt fuck me several times. It was enjoyable and we had fun doing that together, but now he’s wondering if we’re not gay because we liked it.
I told him that I was sure that we weren’t, and said how friends can do stuff like that together without being gay, but he’s doing all of this soul searching about his sexual identity and is fearful that he might be gay and just not know it.
I don’t have any doubts about myself just because I enjoyed having a dick in my butt a few times. It just feels good and is exciting, but it doesn’t mean that I want to be sexual with other guys all the time or have that kind of relationship.
I feel sorry for him and didn’t realize that it would have this kind of an outcome. Has anyone else experienced this with a friend?
