Dressing Room Shock

Last week I took my 11 year old granddaughter shopping for a new bathing suit before our family vacation at the shore.

She selected one that looked a bit skimpy to me but I agreed to let her try it on for me. We entered the dressing room together and I remove the bathing suit from the hanger as my granddaughter undressed, When she turned around I was totally shocked to see that she had a full bush of dark hair. I didn't know what to say at that point other than pointing out that a bit of barbering would be necessary if she was to wear the suit.

She insisted that she wanted the suit, so I paid for it and we left the store. Later, I mentioned our trip to my daughter, her mother, but she wasn't at all surprised. I told her that she should have warned me, but she said that she didn't think it necessary. Guess things have really changed over the past 30 years!
